This hilarious game tests a blindfolded player’s ability to identify others by touch and sound. Perfect for breaking the ice at any party!

This is a refreshed adaptation from the All Eyes on Me retro party-game collection.

At a glance

Players: 4+ players.
You will need: A soft fabric strip and optional blindfold.
Cost: Free instructions; use items you already have. Optional props or prizes may cost extra.

How to play

  1. Sit in a circle and choose a listener, who may close their eyes or wear an optional blindfold.
  2. A host hands a soft fabric strip to the listener and offers its other end to one seated player.
  3. The listener makes an animal sound and the selected player copies it.
  4. The listener guesses who made the sound. A correct guess means they swap roles; otherwise offer another clue.
  5. Keep everyone seated and let guests pass if they prefer.

Host’s tip

Use fabric instead of a pointed stick. No touching another person’s face or body is needed.

Agree on the rules before you start. Guests can join, adapt a movement or pass; use points or optional playful challenges wherever the retro rules mention forfeits.
