How to play

  1. Players sit or stand facing the leader, with their right hand resting on their left arm.
  2. The leader tells a story, mentioning animals and birds.
  3. When a bird is named, players must raise their right hand and flutter it. For other animals, hands must remain still.
  4. Mistakes result in an optional playful challenge.
  5. Continue until only one player remains mistake-free.

Host’s tip

Add complexity by mentioning flying animals that aren’t birds, like bats, to trick players.

Agree on the rules before you start. Guests can join, adapt a movement or pass; use points or optional playful challenges wherever the retro rules mention forfeits.
