You will need: A large token and a table.

How to play

1. Players sit around a table with their hands under it.
2. One player, the “finder,” leaves the room while a halfpenny (or similar small object) is passed around.
3. When the finder returns, the passing stops, and everyone places their closed fists on the table.
4. The finder guesses which hand hides the coin.
5. If correct, the player holding the coin becomes the new finder. If incorrect, the game continues.

Host’s tip

Encourage players to use misdirection to confuse the finder.

Agree on the rules before you start. Guests can join, adapt a movement or pass; use points or optional playful challenges wherever the retro rules mention forfeits.
