A clever game of observation where players must guess who has been “photographed.”

From the All Eyes on Me retro party-game collection, this old-fashioned favourite brings simple fun to a modern gathering.

At a glance

Players: 4+ players.
You will need: Paper and a pen.
Cost: Free instructions; use items you already have. Optional props or prizes may cost extra.

How to play

  1. One guest leaves while the host asks another player to adopt a distinctive pose.
  2. The host writes down three observations about the pose, then the player returns to an ordinary sitting position.
  3. The guest returns and hears the three clues without a name being given.
  4. They identify the player who posed and, for a bonus point, recreate the pose.
  5. Change photographer and guesser for the next round.

Host’s tip

No camera is needed: the ‘photograph’ is a description remembered by the group.

Agree on the rules before you start. Guests can join, adapt a movement or pass; use points or optional playful challenges wherever the retro rules mention forfeits.
