This updated take on a dizzying retro challenge swaps the original poker and spinning for a slow coordination task.

This is a refreshed adaptation from the All Eyes on Me retro party-game collection.

At a glance

Players: 3+ players.
You will need: A lightweight cardboard tube and a target.
Cost: Free instructions; use items you already have. Optional props or prizes may cost extra.

How to play

  1. Place a lightweight cardboard tube upright on the floor and mark a target a few steps away.
  2. One player walks slowly around the tube once, keeping their head upright and their eyes open.
  3. They then walk to the target and place a beanbag inside it.
  4. Award one point for a successful placement and let the next player try.
  5. For a seated version, move a token around a tabletop tube and into a bowl.

Host’s tip

There is no forehead-on-poker position or repeated spinning in this modern adaptation.

Agree on the rules before you start. Guests can join, adapt a movement or pass; use points or optional playful challenges wherever the retro rules mention forfeits.
